SysIntegrity performs real-time analysis of files as they are written to the hard disk. By comparing file signatures to a list of known malware, SysIntegrity is able to detect over 90,000 pieces of malware. If a malicious file is found, the user is prompted to either quarantine or delete the file. In addition to real-time protection, SysIntegrity includes a manual scanner that can be used to scan individual files or entire directories. This is useful for scanning data contained on other media, such as CDs or flash drives.
