Chameleon is an extraordinary tool for seamless importation of selected objects, pieces of the background, etc into a picture. The tool automatically adjusts the inserted object to the picture background in such a way that the object's color range harmonizes with the environment, just the way chameleons do.
The tool is very easy to handle as it does not require precise selection of objects and you do not have to think about smoothing the object's borders and the color range difference between the object and the background.
The tool can be useful for several purposes:
-to insert new objects in a picture, but with much more flexibility and ease than with conventional tools (collage creation), -to conceal undesirable artifacts by replacing them with the nearby parts of the image (similar to the clone tool).
