GetRight has not required registered users to pay for upgrades no matter when you purchased. The few people who bought GetRight 1.0 many years ago are still getting upgrades without charge. GetRight has improved a lot over the years, which takes a lot of effort. (And the price has gone up a few times too...even at the current $25 we believe it is a pretty good deal* :-)

If you bought GetRight several years ago, and have received a number of these major upgrades, hopefully you are willing to send a bit of money to say "Thanks" and pay for this upgrade, even if it is not required.
