Melodic ID provides advanced level, unlimited, graduated melodic dictation in simple and compound meters with immediate feedback and scoring. Melodic ID begins with scale steps 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and skips of a third from a selected major or minor scale and continues through all keys, scale steps, intervals, and mixed modes. User clicks rhythm pattern buttons to notate dictated rhythm, repeats as necessary, scores rhythm, clicks screen keyboard to notate dictated melody, checks melody for errors, repeats and corrects as necessary, scores melodic dictation. Practice lowers number of required repetitions.

Pitch ID trains pitch and interval identifcation in context by ear. Pitch ID generates unlimited questions in every major and harmonic minor key in 15 levels of graduated difficulty with immediate feedback and scoring.
Select a major or minor key. Begin with pitches or intervals selected from the 3 tonic triad notes, 'do' 'mi' 'sol', scale steps 1, 3, and 5 from the selected scale. Or begin with more pitches.
Correctly identify the note or interval by clicking the screen keyboard and the program replays the correct note, shows it, and sounds the next note. If you do not correctly identify the pitch or interval, the program indicates an error, repeats the note and pauses for your answer. AutoAdvance can be turned on to advise when to advance to questions containing more scale steps.
AutoModulate can be turned on to advise when to change keys.

1000WordsESL for Spanish Speakers builds a 1000 spoken word vocabulary of the most frequent English words. Those who learn to see, hear, speak and write this basic vocabulary can be functional in English. The 1000 English words are divided into 50 word units, each unit subdivided into Nouns, Verbs, Pronouns, Adjectives, Adverbs, Prepositions, and Conjunctions. Verbs are additionally subdivided into 'Infinitives and past participles' or 'All Verbs'. 'All verbs' includes first, second, and third persons, singular and plural, as well as infinitives and past participles.
There are 4 practice modes:
1. See and hear the English word and click the Spanish definition.Useful for visual and aural recognition of English words and their Spanish definitions.
2. Hear the English word (but do not see it) and click the Spanish definition. Useful for aural recognition and memorization of English words (without visual cue) and their Spanish definitions.
3. See the English word (but do not hear it) and click the Spanish definition .
4. Hear the English word and type the English word. Use the 'Enter' key to check typed answers. Useful for practicing English spelling and aural recognition and memorization of English words.
SentencesESL teaches sentence construction linked to each 50 word unit. Testing included.

Chord ID trains chord identification by ear. Chord ID has three answer modes: Functions (Roman numerals), Chords (C Maj, Dmin, etc.), Qualities (Maj, min, dim). The graduated exercises begin with the easy task of identifying only the I or V chords. Begin practice by selecting an easy level (select under Levels menu) and gradually advance. Repeat as many times as necessary, click in the appropriate box and change any chord, then check your answer. Chord ID has 18 levels of graduated difficulty: 60 exercises with 20 questions in each exercise for a total 1200 questions, each with 8 chords. Questions are in Latin, country, rock, and jazz styles with immediate feedback and scoring.
