Ancient Ivory v4.0 is
an award winning dice game of strategy and luck featuring an intuitive
interface, your choice of three different graphical interfaces,
realistic animation and sound effects, and music, with an optional
competitive computer opponent. Choose a different graphical interface,
each with unique dice animation, every time you play - Classic, Stained
Glass Monet or Safari. In Ancient Ivory, five dice, or a subset of
these dice are rolled up to three times, in an attempt to score the
highest number of points for each of twelve categories. Points are
scored for five-of-a-kind (an "Ivory"), large straight, small straight,
four-of-a-kind, full house, sixes, fives, fours, threes, twos, ones and
choice. Four game variations of Ancient Ivory are included: single- and
double-column options are provided for both the five- and ten-dice
games. Play alone, against one, two, or three other players, or, in the
five-dice variations of Ancient Ivory, against a competitive computer
opponent. A variety of midi music pieces are provided, but you can add
your own! Animation speed of the dice and cup are easily set and saved
for players' preferences.
Ancient Ivory displays and saves the top ten scores in each of the four
game variations. Also, for the player's convenience, the current game
variation last played, including players' names, animation speed, music
and sound effects options are saved automatically.

Roxie's Math Fish
offers an enjoyable 3D animated game environment in which children
easily learn math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and
division.
In Roxie's Math Fish, Roxie, a friendly, animated, talking cat, plays
"Go Fish" with a child, but, instead of asking for a number, Roxie asks,
"Please give me your cards that equal" and says a number corresponding
to the result of an addition, subtraction, multiplication or division
equation. Roxie gently guides the child in selecting the correct word
card.
When a "Go Fish" game is completed, Roxie then sets up a game of
"Roxie's Dice," the classic "Shut The Box" game. As a reward, the
child may play one round of the game after each "Go Fish" game. The
object of Roxie's Dice is to try to close all nine boxes, or as many of
the nine boxes as possible, to score the lowest score possible. In this
game, children need to be able to add and subtract to determine the best
boxes to shut during each roll of the dice.
Roxie's Math Fish is used in schools and libraries in the U.S. and
Europe.

| 6.Roxie's Reading Fish |

|
Roxie's Reading Fish
offers an enjoyable 3D animated game environment in which children
easily learn basic, high-frequency words from the pre-school age to
late-second grade level. Additionally, parents and teachers can record
their own words, and create word lists for use in the game, greatly
extending the educational value and the age-level of the product.
In Roxie's Reading Fish, Roxie, a friendly, animated, talking cat, plays
"Go Fish" with a child, but, instead of asking for a number, asks for a
word from a list of over two hundred basic, high-frequency words, which
were chosen with the aid of reading specialists in education. Roxie
gently guides the child in selecting the correct word card.
When a "Go Fish" game is completed, Roxie then sets up a "memory" game.
To play, the child needs to find pairs of words and patterned tiles.
When a match is made, Roxie will say that word. The words used are all
words from the next reading level. In this way, the child painlessly
begins to learn the next set of words he or she will encounter in the
next levels of the game. When they reach the next level, they already
have some familiarity with those words, and learn them much more
quickly!
Roxie's Reading Fish now incorporates a feature where the parent or
teacher can record their own words, and enter their word lists into the
program with an easy-to-use database. Word lists are easy to enter,
select, modify and delete when no longer needed. With these features,
the child can now learn words with which they are having difficulty, or
words that they would like to learn to read, or words in a book they
will be reading, extending the program's life considerably.
Roxie's Reading Fish is used in schools and libraries in the U.S. and
Europe.
Roxie's Reading Fish was selected by HomePC Magazine (Oct, 1996) as a
"must have" program, and is the most popular of the early elementary
level downloads on ZDNet (www.zdnet.com). Roxie's Reading Fish is a
finalist in the 1997 Ziff-Davis Shareware Awards.
