Contrary to the model F40, which celebrated its forties anniversary in
1987, F50 was developed without Enzo Ferrari's participation. Traditionally,
this car should have appeared by the fiftieth anniversary of the firm in
1997, but in March, 1995 it was already presented at the Geneva car
exhibition. The design of this model, in addition to a number of Italian
sports cars, was done by talented foremen from Pinninfarina. And it is not
surprising that rush lines which highlight the car's sports character
amazes you from the very beginning. Its twelve-cylinder engine, which is
traditional for this lead model of the firm, is allocated in the middle
of a composed body of the most original design, which is in many respects
similar to a bolide F1.
