Stochastic is a financial simulator. It's similar to a financial retirement planning application in that it is a tool that estimates what a portfolio will be worth in the distant future. However, it goes one step beyond because it takes probability into account and simulates a number of possible futures. As a result, it not only calculates the expected outcome, but also the likelihood of making more or less money, and an estimated probability of losing money on the investment. |
