Installation Instructions
Windows
1. Download XMIND2008
2. If the downloaded file is an executable Windows installer, double-click it and follow the onscreen instructions. This may require an Internet connection.
3. If the downloaded file is a zip package, unzip it to a clean folder, double-click the "xmind.exe" file to launch XMIND2008. No additional installation steps are needed.
Mac OS X
1. Please use "Software Updates" in the system menu to update Java to the latest version.
2. Download XMIND 2008
3. Double-click the downloaded file (may be a dmg file) to open a Finder window including "xmind.app". (Some download tool would open it automatically.)
4. Drag the "xmind.app" (the orange bulb) into your Applications folder to copy it to your hard driver.
5. You can drag XMIND2008 again from the Applications folder to your dock, if you want.
Linux
1. Download XMIND2008
2. Open the package and extract it to a clean folder, double-click the "xmind" to launch XMIND.
